Amazing full moon picture taken today April 7th, 2012

Wake up at 5:30 am this morning direction by bicycle to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram for 20 minutes meditation with my new German friend Martina. At 7:15 am departure from the Ashram by bus to a place called The Garden close to Auroville international. We are 12 people in the bus ready to dedicate time to do gardening. Today i got a new job  !! I will help working in what they call here The Mother Garden.

The Garden is actually 70 hectares of nature, i understand the land belongs to the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. There are fields of flowers of all kind, forest, a nursery of plants and many other things i still have to explore… I have started work with the guidance of my new indian friend named Krishna. First task to pick flowers in the field that will decorate what they call the Samadhi ( a place of meditation). Krishna explained me that The Mother named more than 900 flowers.

We did pick up this morning the two following flowers:

Last but not least today it’s Saturday night I had a wonderful dinner with my friend Eileen coming from the Philippines. She is a journalist. She introduced to her friend Hans an gentleman in his 70’s coming from Germany… he is living in Pondichery for more or less 40 years. He is an architect and was one of the architect who built some building of the international city of Auroville (around 10 km from Pondichery). I will talk about this unique place in another post.

Tonight was a lovely chatting night with my new friends, we discussed about philosophy, life, Yoga, Meditation, India, Pondichery, the Ashram…
